Echinacea Echinacea purpurea

Back

Echinacea is a drought-tolerant plant that grows up to 4 ft in height.

Their flowers are distinctive - the plant is often called a 'cone flower' because of them - in fact the name of the plant comes from the greek 'echinos' meaning sea urchin - which roughly describes the look of these beautiful flowers.

However, it's Echinacea's legendary properties for providing a seasonal armoury that makes it a core part of our Elderberry & Echinacea fruit tea.
